Is organizing papers one of your favorite things to do? It isn’t mine, either!
All of us are inundated with papers such as: junk mail, school papers, bills, warranties, medical documents, receipts, etc., etc., etc.! That doesn’t even include VIP papers like passports, birth and marriage certificates, taxes, etc. It can be overwhelming to keep it all organized and easy to find when needed.
I remember my mom telling about a friend of hers who had a fire consume her home. After the fire, she had no pictures of her children, no family mementos, and certainly, she lost many important papers. I’ve often wondered how hard it must have been for her family to go through such a difficult situation.
Early in our marriage, my husband and I bought a SentrySafe Fire Safe Chest to protect our important papers – like our marriage certificate 😉 and our birth certificates, etc.
However, as the years have passed, we have accumulated quite a number of VIP documents that need protection and organization. We want them to be protected from theft, fire and water damage, yet still be easily accessible.
Thanks to SentrySafe, we now have a way to store our important documents and easily organize them at the same time. The HD4100 Fire-Safe Waterproof File is a perfect solution for us! Our important documents, CDs and USB flash drives are now safe and easy to access.
SentrySafe and All You Magazine have a great giveaway going on through the end of February, and I am thrilled to offer it to you, my fantastic followers!

Even in a fire, the water used can cause so much damage. Knowing my important papers were protected would be a relief! Thank you for a great giveaway and opportunity!

Banana says
I would love to have this safe because of the size! We have a small safe and I mostly keep all my pictures backed up on cd in it. It is completely full though and I love how this safe is big enough to hang folders!
Kathy says
You can never be too safe–paperwork is the one thing you can’t get back. You can post photos online and and backup computer stuff but papers…they’re gone without some kind of protection. This would be a big help in our objective to become a better prepared family. Thanks for the giveaway.
Lorna England says
Having our will and certain photos destroyed is what bothers me the most! I would store those types of items in the safe!
Connie Beard says
I want make sure that our documents are kept safe. This would also give me a reason to go back through and reorganize them.
Pattypro says
We are outgrowing our (very) small fire safe, this would be perfect!
Kristina Burke says
I would like to have this safe because i have been working this year on organizing our files and have been working on getting copies together of the important ones and I need a better place to store them. Also, a few weeks ago we had a major water main break up the street that flooded 9 homes. Luckily, it wasn’t ours but it could of just as easily of been and since we currently live in a basement, we would of lost everything.
Carlee says
I would love to have this safe because our house has been broken into many times and I always worry important papers are going to get destroyed or stolen. And when Im not worried about that Im having to keep my son out of the spot where I have them now
Ashley C says
I’m always worried that a fire is going to destroy our house (we live in the country fairly far from the closest firestation). My family’s safety is most important, but I worry about documents that are irreplaceable or a pain to replace

Elizabeth P. says
I would love to have this safe because I am always so nervous that I could lose the irriplacable items we have no safe place for in our home. These items include backups of our family photos, important documents, and our children’s priceless mementos.
Stephanie says
I would like to win this fireproof safe mainly as a babystep in the organizational overhaul that is happening in my home right now! Hubby and I are bound and determined to regain control and organization in our home that we let slip away after our 3 sons were born. We could use a system like this to store some very important documents that we wouldn’t want to lose!! Either way (through this sweepstakes or by purchasing our own) we plan to get a safe document storage in place like this ASAP!
Thanks for providing your readers this opportunity!
Wehaf says
I’d love to have this because right now my important papers are scattered all over, and certainly not secure. This would let me keep everything safely in the same place.

I need an ORGANIZED place to keep important papers outside of a safe deposit box. I now realize I need to keep a back up file from my PC when I see the CD in the lid. Thanks for the offer!
Cindy says
We have outgrown our Sentry Fire safe box that we had when we first got married, and I would not have any other brand. We feel very secure in putting our valuable documents and personal items in our safe. It would be fantastic to have a second one!
Heather McDougall says
A local horse stable burned to the ground last night- including the owners house. One of the stable workers was taken to the hospital and treated for burns, and 38 horses lost their lives. Their two children attend school with my children. It was devistating to everyone- we are all trying to pitch in and help with clothing needs, food, etc. I want to be prepared as best I can if ever we were to have a fire. We don’t have ANYTHING. Our papers are just in a file in a drawer. Thanks for the contest, I hope it motivates others to get one even if they don’t win. If I win, I will offer it to our neighbors.
Jennifer Ming says
I would love to have this fire safe file box for many reasons. I currently have a small fire safe box that has reached it’s capacity. Some the things that I keep in there are VIP papers, photos of my deceased Mom and Grandmother and old jewelry of my Mom’s. As I go through things of my Mom’s, I come across more things that I would love to keep safe from water or fire damage but I don’t have anymore room in my current box. The boxes are fairly expensive, so it would be awesome to win one!! If not though, I will spend the money to buy a new one because keeping those things safe are way to important to not spend the money. : )
Lorie says
As a new homeowner at 64, I have run into all kinds of ‘wake up’ calls. Last year we had two floods in the area. My home was not inundated by rising waters, but runoff water did enter. I had no coverage for the problems it caused. I can just see the day when we have an earthquake to deal with. I have many vital and precious papers, cd’s and other media to protect. I do a lot of creative writing. I’d hate to lose a word of it to fire or water. I have only photos to remember my family, now. I’d sure hate to lose them. The budget is tight, so I have had to put my resources to work on other more immediate demands–like the garage door opener that just failed. This is one item I’ve wanted for a long time. It would be such a wonderful thing to wake up and find out that this protector of vital and precious things was coming to my home.
Molly L says
so many important bits of paper… SS cards, birth certs, housing info, tax info! all need to be as safe as possible just in case. This last summer I had to grab my paperwork box my couple of really important objects and my kids get in the car and drive into town because of a forest fire not far from here.
Jennifer says

Ginny says
When we got married 14+ years ago we bought a small fire safe. We quickly filled it, and I’ve been wanting a larger one ever since. Winning one would be amazing! I like to keep all our important docs in it, but I also want to add negatives & backup flashdrives, etc with photos as well which I can’t do with my small safe. This file one also looks a lot nicer and easier to keep organized.
Cindy Brooks says
This would be perfect for us to store the important papers and digital files we’d want to take if we had to evacuate (due to a wildfire). The one we have now is too big to take easily…

Stacey Burdine says
I would like to win this safe because I honestly don’t have important papers put away safely anywhere and these safes are so expensive.
Sara H says
I have been looking at firesafe boxes for quite a while. We keep our kids passports, birth certificates, and even baptismal certificates in a lock box, but if ever there is a fire, we would lose it all. I would like to protect the things in our life that are mementos of everything that means something to us. Stuff we can replace…baby pictures of our preemie, we can’t.
Geraldyne says
I have had one of these before and loved it. It kept most of the documents that are valuable safe and secure. Would love another one. I also have kept my wedding photos and videos safe!!
tracey says
I have been looking into getting a safe because my important papers and mementos are not in a secure place. Having this would be a great start to getting everything organized.
Liesl says
It would be fantastic to have a safe place to put all my mortgage paperwork, as well as a few thumb drives after I’ve backed up my computer.
Cindy says
Our household desperately needs this safe to safeguard both our treasured mementos and documents we have to keep forever. We are a military family so our frequent moves make having an all-in-one secure box like this crucial to safekeeping our important paperwork.
Jennifer Marie says
I would like this so I can keep my family documents safe. I do not have anything like this.
LATOYA @ THE SCOTTSCRIB says
This would make life simpler, having one designated place for all of my documents:)
Serena Michelle Barnett says
I don’t currently have a way to keep our important documents and files safe. I’ve wanted a water/fire proof safe for years but the options I’ve seen at Costco were too big – I only need something big enough to hold our important papers (taxes, birth/marriage certificates, insurance papers, social security cards, and the external hard drive for the computer). This safe is the PERFECT size and just what I need!
Audrey Griffis says
wow what a great item i’d love to not only have this to help me keep orgazied but you just never know when a fire can happen and i’d love to have a place for special items sich as stuff given to me by my grandparents before htey died so that i can show my kids when they get older 🙂

I would want the safe because we are SOOO disorganized when it comes to backing up files on the computer and what not….everything is still hard copies. Also…with three little boys in the house….a fire is likely 😉
Ginny says
LOL!! That cracked me up, Elizabeth!
Ruthe says
I would love to have the fire proof safe. I have always stored my valuable papers in one but my small one is full. I love the idea of storing things in the lid. It’s so important to store family pictures etc. which I would have room to do with this box.
