This is the eighth post in a 12 day series called “12 Days of Christmas {Planning}”. Check back every day for tips and downloads to help you organize your Christmas holiday!
Every year we have a host of gifts to give to the kids’ teachers at our homeschool co-op, Sunday School, ballet, gymnastics, etc., not to mention the kids’ parties or neighbor gifts. Christmastime can be a budgeting nightmare (if not planned for in advance) and these little gifts can really add up!
Of course, it is the thought that counts, and we sincerely enjoy giving. But a little help in the inspiration department is welcome in my house! This post is dedicated to giving you ideas for cute teacher gifts ~ keeping the thought (and the budget) in mind.
This is one of my favorites from Today’s Fabulous Finds. Here is what the card says:
This Christmas you deserve the best…
…a present unlike all the rest.
We considered a new car or exotic cruise,
but decided on something you could really use!
Finally we found a gift to admire,
we hope you like your new washer and dryer!
Happy Holidays!

Isn’t that darling??? I can’t wait to use this idea this year using Christmas themed cloths and towels.
Here is a sweet idea from The Happy Housewife
This is a cheap and fabulous way from Jen Grant Morris to deliver those yummy homemade cookies you’ve made using Pringles cans:
These super cheap, yet beautiful coasters are made with $ .16 cent tiles and scrapbook paper. Thanks to Two Girls Being Crafty for the Idea:
I love these adorable sticky note clipboards from Dollar Store Crafts made with free chipboard restaurant coasters, scrapbook paper, and binder clips.
I think this idea is amazing. It would take some effort to get all the kids’ fingerprints, but it may be a treasured gift for years to come. This was found on etsy.
I love the ability to individualize this idea from Stampin at 6213. I made a variation of this for my in-laws anniversary. I found the shadow box {on sale} at Michael’s and cut a piece of pretty scrapbook paper to fit the back of the frame. I filled it with white paper flowers {from the wedding aisle} and put a pretty sticker on the front of the glass spelling Love. Then I wrapped it with a pretty green ribbon. One thing I did not do ~ take a picture of it. Ugh. But, it was very pretty.
These next three are from Little Pumpkin Grace. I LOVE the ideas on this site.
I’m sure any teacher would love this pencil vase from My Mix of Six
This one is nice if you are crafty from 3 Krazy Chics using a Christmas card, a plaque, and modge podge:
This is another super pretty, idea from etsy. If it’s sold when you view it, you could probably DIY:
Love this idea to Wisk You a Merry Christmas from Today’s Fabulous Finds for a young teacher who may not have all of her kitchen utensils yet:
Last but not least, these adorable pillow boxes from Scrapbooks, etc. would make a great way to deliver homemade goodies or a little bag of chocolates. They have a free downloadable template to use with scrapbook cardstock.
I hope you’ve found some inspiration for making affordable teacher gifts. I’m excited about trying some of these ideas this year!
