Welcome to Day 31 of our series on building your Home Management Binder.
I can hardly believe it is the last day of our 31 Day series! When I originally decided to do this series, I knew it would be a lot of work during a very busy month for me, but I didn’t realize how many of you were going to jump on board and build your binders with me! I have had so much fun reading through all the sweet comments and hearing stories of how my printables have helped you. I had no idea what a wonderful experience this would be, so thank you all!
Before I decided to go forward with this project, I made sure that I had at least 31 ideas for binder printables. Throughout the month as I’ve been making them, I realized that I have a bunch more that won’t fit within our “31 Days”. So…
Over the next few weeks and months, I will be occasionally posting new printables for your binder!
At this time, I’m unable to offer personalized printables for free, but I definitely welcome your suggestions.
For the last day of our series, I made section dividers to help you organize your binder. There are quite a few of them, so check back tomorrow to see how I put my binder together.

You’re welcome! Have fun filling them in. 🙂
Maureen says
Thank you so much for your willingness to share your forms and organization tips. I have known for a long time that I needed to be better organized and have tried here and there to set up a binder. What a blessed encouragement this has been. My adult daughter and I will be working on setting up the binder for our home and tasks together so that we can both benefit.
Ginny says
You’re welcome, Maureen! I’m glad to hear that you will be working on your binder with your daughter. That will be so fun. My eldest daughter is really organized, and I love working on projects with her, too! Have fun filling it out. 🙂

Ginny says
Thanks, Sarah! I can hardly believe it’s the last day, too! When I thought of posting every day for 31 days when I usually only post 2-3 times per week, I thought it would be a huge challenge. But, it went so fast and I had so much fun! I’m glad you are enjoying my site. Thanks for your sweet comment. 🙂
Sandi says
I can’t thank you enough for all the work you have put into these. They are awesome and I am planning to use them and my binder to finally get organized once and for all.

JulieBee in Iowa says
Thank you for making the dividers! It will make it so much easier to find what I’m looking for. You have provided so many useful pages for the household notebook! I don’t have school-age children anymore, but I just might make a notebook for someone who does. You are so kind to share all of this with us. Thank you Ginny. 🙂
Ginny says
You’re welcome, JulieBee! Glad you like them. 🙂
Kaycee says
Just want to say Thank You! 🙂
Ginny says
You’re welcome, Kaycee. I’m glad you enjoyed the series. 🙂
Rebecca says
I am so thankful you did this! I found quite a few pages that will be so helpful! I wonder though, if there is a way for you (or me?) to make the pages fillable? I like to keep my pages nice and neat, which my handwriting is not, so I’d kinda like to type stuff into them on the computer before printing? Is that something that could be possible?
Ginny says
Rebecca, I WISH I could make these editable for you, but the software to do that is over $500! I’m considering purchasing it, but I would have to charge for my printables in order to offset the cost. Some day, I’m hoping to offer editable printables, but I just can’t do it at this point. 🙂
Patty M says
Thanks for the great notebook. I am making a set for my daughter in law for Christmas!
Ginny says
You’re welcome, Patty. I hope she likes it. 🙂
Amanda Burt says
Thank you so much for the last 31 days. I had been using a home binder for some time but was tired of it and found that I wasn’t using it as much as before. This has re-energized me and I love all that you have done!
Ginny says
I’m so glad to hear that, Amanda! I’m glad you’re inspired. Have fun filling our your new binder! 🙂
Lisa says
I bet everyone would paypal you a buck or two. I know i would! Thank you again for your efforts. It was greatly appreciated on this end. What a fabulous idea for the 31!
Ginny says
Thanks, Lisa! You are so sweet. 🙂 I’m glad you found them helpful and hopefully I can offer editable versions soon. 🙂
Audrey Dalley says
Thank you for making these pages available. I will be forever grateful for the freezer inventory. I have been meaning to do this for a very long time – now it is done. “oh, I will remember what this is.” Famous last words. No more food going into the abyss. Grace & peace to you.
Ginny says
Thanks, Audrey. 🙂 I’m glad to know my printables are helping people, so thanks so much for letting me know.
Marsha says

Ginny says
You’re welcome, Trina! I’m glad you found them helpful. 🙂
Lynn says
Thank you Ginny for all the free printables. I have never done an organization home binder before. This is so helpful as I am having surgery next week and feel like this will help my husband to navigate better through important stuff for our family. Also, we just moved to another state and having to get all new doctors and contacts is overwhelming. So, this helps be able to store EVERYTHING in one place. Thanks again! God Bless
Ginny says
Lynn, I’m so glad to hear how helpful this has been to you! I appreciate you letting me know. I pray that all goes well with your surgery!! Blessings on you. 🙂
Kathy H says
Ginny – just found your blog last month through Money Saving Mom. Was so excited to see your Home Management Binder series that you were sharing – have been wanting to do this for quite a while now, but didn’t quite know how to start! Thank you so much!! Ginny says
Thank you, Kathy! You are so sweet to leave me such a nice comment. I’m glad you’re enjoying the printables. 🙂
Grace says
Thanks so much for the wonderful printables! I’ve been faithfully downloading each one, and I know they will be of great help as I continue to organize my schedule and responsibilities.
Also, I had subscribed to several blogs doing the 31-day challenge at the start of November. Most of them I will be unsubscribing from, but not Organizing Homelife! Thanks again for sharing your experiences and advice 🙂
Like others, I am definitely looking forward to seeing any future Binder Printables!
Ginny says
Thanks, Grace! You are so sweet. 🙂 I’m glad you like the printables. I love making them, so it’s nice to know other people appreciate them. 🙂
Géraldine says
Hello. I’m french and I speak very bad english. Sorry.
Thank you very much for this beautiful work ! Il love it. 🙂
I have 3 childrens and I have read a french book for the «home organisation». It’s around the sames headings but you are more complete. 🙂 I see your blog on Pinterest and Il love it ! It’s very nice. 🙂
Thank you and have a good day. 🙂
Ginny says
Thank you Geraldine. I appreciate you leaving me such a sweet comment! I’m glad you like the printables. 🙂
Trish says
Thank you for your amazingly wonderful series! I have needed something like this as we are a very busy household, and this keeps order of everything. Are you going to post about how you organise your folder? Thank you once again for everything 🙂
Ginny says
You’re welcome, Trish. I’m glad you’re enjoying it. I’ll be posting about how I put my binder together later today.
Trudi says
This was such an awesome project. I have 5 step-daughters and they are all out of the house. Only one of them is not married and I was thinking of making up binders for each of the 4 married girls as Christmas gifts. I hope they will find them as interesting as I have.
Ginny says
Thanks, Trudi. I’m glad you like it and I hope your step-daughters like it, too! 🙂
Diana says
Hi Ginny,
I read your blog everyday & love it! I read your post on November 5 about your much needed rest after the 31 day series & your travels. I was thrilled with all of your printables in the series ( anticipating all the new ones you’ll be adding! ) I’m just as excited over seeing how you have put your binder together! ( Aren’t we organizing women silly? We get all giddy over a binder…lol. ) Have you posted about your binder yet? I’m in no way rushing you, as all wives & mother’s need rest, especially someone with a busy schedule like yours. I just want to make sure that I haven’t missed it. Thanks for all you do to help all of us through your blog.
Mimi says
Thank you so much. I just put my binder together and now look forward to filling in the information. I am so excited to have everything all in one place.
Just wondering, do you have a blank section divider you could share? There are a couple of additional sections I would like to add to my binder.
I would like one named Contacts, and one named Information.
If not, that is okay. You have done so much already.
When I “grow up” I hope to be organized. Maybe it will happen by the time the kids move out 🙂
Seriously though, you have helped so much and I feel as though I am on my way.
Thanks again.
Mimi says
I just saw that you do have one named contacts. I don’t know why it didn’t show up before (or maybe I just missed it.)
Ginny says
No problem, Mimi. Thanks for the ideas anyway. I will definitely add a blank one soon, that’s a great idea!
Toni says
I have a page suggestion. I’m always buying spices I already have. Spice cabinets are crammed full of all these spices and when I’m in a hurry, I forget to check to see if I still have whatever I need. A page, similar to the freezer ones, for spices would be great. You could list the spice, the size of the container (since they come in huge, regular, little, etc – mine are all grouped by size in the cabinet) and when you bought it.
A pantry one could be great too. Again, like the freezer one, it would give you the opportunity to list everything you have in there. 🙂
Ginny says
GREAT idea, Toni! I will definitely keep that one in mind. Thanks for the suggestion! 🙂
Katrina says
I have used a home management binder for a couple years, but all my pages have been collected over time from different places. It was driving me crazy that they don’t match. This is PERFECT!!! Thank you so much for your time and generosity!! I will be putting these to very good use.
One page that I was looking for though is a gift organizing page for spouse, kids, parents, inlaws and other special people. With 3 kids that information my brain could get quite scrambled.
Thank you SO much!!!
Katrina
Katrina says
After further investigation of your website, I found the Christmas Planner section. Now I’m really in heaven!! Thank you SO much for your hard work!!!
Katrina
Ginny says
You’re welcome, Katrina. Glad you found the Christmas planner. 🙂
Karen J says
Hey Ginny,
So far I am very impressed with your organizational skills. I wish you made small day planner/binders. I am having a heck of a time finding one to fit all my needs. Any ideas on where to find one that combines workouts, food journaling appts and other day planner stuff along with notes? Or a website where I can try to create one on my own?
Heather Mason says
Hello! I adore your printables! I just have one question… For the section dividers, do you happen to have a blank one? Or one that is simply labled general? I was hoping to add a few custom categories
Thanks! 🙂
Heather
Beka says
I just found this today through Pinterest!!! Once I got to the dividers, I had the same question/request… a blank one would be awesome for custom made sections!
I am definitely bookmarking your site, I’m excited to get this binder going and look at what else you have on here! Thanks so much!!!
Ginny says
Beka, I just posted the “Blank Section Divider” the other day. Thanks for reminding me to add the link to the previous post. 😉 You can see it here: http://96.30.21.56/~organiz/archives/4801

Hi Ginny. Thank you a million times and more for sharing your beautiful home management planner. Home organization is not easy for me, to say the least, but your beautiful pages are an incentive to keep chipping away at my goal. One day soon, Operation Smooth Household will be up and running! Thanks again, Ginny. Now, did someone say “Christmas Planner”?
Big hug,
Vicki
Ginny says
Thanks for the sweet comment, Vicki! I hope making a binder will help get you started, just don’t overwhelm yourself. Start slowly! You can find my Christmas planning pages on my ‘free printables’ page on the menu. 🙂
Lena says
Love all of these printables, thank you so much for making them available! My home management and approach to organization just took a turn in the irght direction, thanks to you!
Ginny says

Hello,
I have been using a Home Management Binder for about six months now, and am loving it! However I have been using “printables” from various websites…but I really, really like all of yours! They are simple, clean and *editable* — how very generous of you! I know it’s crazy…I like having everything matching and so I will be switching this weekend. Thank you! Blessings, Jennifer from Ontario, Canada
Erin says
Ginny,
Thank you for the House Hold Organization Binder Idea. My parents are getting up there and I am going to make this for my mom & Dad for a gift with most of the information filled in, that way we all know where it is and what is going on.
Thank you again.
Erin
Andrea says
Thank you so much for taking the time to create these printables and share your tips with us! I found you (through Pinterest) after the month of October, but I read throough every blog post of this series and saved all of the worksheets. After the holidays, I will create my binders (if not before). This will be a GREAT start to helping us get organized in the new year!!
Ginny says
You’re welcome, Andrea. I’m glad you found them to be helpful. Have fun putting it all together. 🙂

I have been out of school on a work related injury since August 27, 2012 and stumbled upon your blog by chance. I am so glad I did! I had the best time following you on your journey of reorganizing! I faithfully tuned in each day to see what was next on your list and was never disappointed. I have finally had a chance to download all the dividers. YOU THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING!! You have the most put together, easy to understand, complete organizer I have ever seen. And to think that you have given it to us, the unorganized masses, for FREE!!! Thank you very much for your time and dedication for this, your labor of love. I plan to do the whole series beginning January 1, 2012. Thank you again!! Lisa
Ginny says
Thank you so much, Lisa, for such a thoughtful, sweet comment! I’m glad you like the printable so much. 🙂 Enjoy putting your binder together, and I hope you recover from your injury well and soon! Take care.

Your printables are so incredible! Thank you for offering them for free. God has gifted you with organization! I was wondering if there is one link to download all the binder printables or if each printable needs to be downloaded separately. Thanks again.
Ginny says
Thanks, Amy. I appreciate the compliment! There isn’t one link for downloading the printables, yet, but stay tuned for a big announcement coming soon. 🙂
Alicia says
These are great! Thank you so much for taking the time to do them 🙂 I was wondering of there is any other way to receive the grocery list? I no longer have Facebook and have no desire to have one…
Ginny says
No problem! I’ll send you one. 🙂
joy says
Hi, Ginny! What an undertaking!
Thank you so much for sharing, and so freely! God bless you, Hon!
Would you by chance share the grocery list, again? 🙂
Be safe and blessed!
His,
joy
Ginny says
Aww, you’re welcome, Joy. Thank you! 🙂
Amanda Gillespie says
Love the binder – but what is the font that you used for the cover and dividers? (I’m creating a few of my own dividers with the blank you gave, but I want it to look consistent…)
Ginny says
Hi Amanda, it’s a Hallmark font called OttumHMK Bold.
Nancie says
I really like the binder & your site has been a big help. I’m glad I could come back & re-download these after losing our old computer. Thanks!
Ginny says
I’m so sorry, Nancie! Computers are great – when they work! Glad to hear you came back to re-download the printables. Enjoy. 🙂
Cindy Uecker says
Hi there!!!! I love your printables, I have created a binder for myself as well as for my mom. I would love some sort of medication list to put in my moms binder. She takes several meds. and it can get confusing for her trying to remember if she took each one and at what time. A printable would be perfect for me to keep with mine stuff as well as hers so we both have a daily record with us for Dr. and hospital visits. I have confidence that you can come up with something creative and useful 😉 Thank you for your time

Ginny

Im diff. passing this on I have lots of friends who struggle with this as well. THANKYOU!!!!!
Candice says
Thank you so much for all the time you put in to creating these pages.
If you don’t mind a suggestion… for those finding your site as I have after your 31 days, being over. If you could link all your down loads instead of having to click your link, to open the page and then have to open yet another page to down load. Please don’t get me wrong. It was all worth it, but very time consuming.
Thank you again for your work.
Busy Mom says
God bless you! You are so generous to share! I have seen many websites but nothing that shares whole heartily as yours does. Big thank you from a grateful mom 🙂
Maritza Collins says
Thank you so much for making such an amazing web site. I truly appreciate your work and absolutely love it all! Would you happen to have the 2013-2014 calender some place? I may just be skipping over it but I would truly love on if you have it. Thank you again for keeping this single mama ORGANIZED!
Ginny says
Thank you, Maritza! I’ll be adding the 2014 calendar to my shop in the near future. 🙂
Bri says
Hello!! I came across this during my search to become more organized and I am so motivated now!! Thank you sooooo much!! I have spent the whole morning getting supplies and I am about to start working on putting everything together. I do, however, have a question. Do you by chance have a blank lable, that could be filled in with additional needs like “pets” The labels that I am referrring to are the section dividers. Let me know. I’m just so excited and want to make sure I have a section for all of my needs 🙂

Is there any chance to make an editable divider? I love the look of yours, but have a couple different categories I’d like to add.
Thank you.
Wendy says
Oh my you really are a life saver! Well this a.m. I had many things to do with very good intentions but… First, I have ADD so I’m all over the place. In my head I’m going pick up the morning routine mess and then move forward but somehow I end up deep cleaning. I’m sitting down cleaning drawers out and organizing them and never get the whole minor mess completed. I’m a very visual person & you have covered everything with such detail that I’m am so excited to start this immediately. As I mentioned I’m a visual person so I have pieces of paper with about every category (to do, shop, ideas for crafts, to build and so on&on…) all over the house, vehicle & purse. See how I get off task, lol (sometimes). 2nd I’ve decided I should just admit my addiction: I’m addicted to Pintrest. My whole day has passed & time to get the children from school already but…. I found YOU!!! It’s honestly worth the time invested because I definitely know that this will be my Life’s Guide to Happiness & Actually Free Time With My Children That I’ve Been Wanting for so long but don’t get becuz I can’t get caught up cuz I can’t stay focused. See what I’m saying, lol!!! Anyway I want you to know that what you have done will give me My A Life & Time to make Memories with My Children. I could never thank you enough!!! I Wish Much Love & Happiness, Wendy
Jennifer says
These are awesome additions to the home binder. Thank You!!!!
Andrea says
I really like your printables and the 31 binder section. I would like to include a few sections in my binder that you don’t have and would love my title pages to look the same. I was wondering if there were any blank title pages and what font did you use so Icould personalize this a bit more. Thanks!
